PROJECT COORDINATION <br /> 010400 -2 <br /> Calculate and measure required dimensions as shown within recognized tolerances. <br /> Drawings shall not be scaled to determine dimensions.Advise entities performing <br /> work of marked lines and levels provided for their use. <br /> 3.2. Surveyor: Engage a Land Surveyor or Professional Engineer experienced and <br /> specializing in land survey work,who is registered in the State where the project is <br /> located, to perform those services specified in this article. <br /> 3.3. Survey Procedures: Before proceeding with the layout of actual work, verify the <br /> layout information shown on the drawings, in relation to the property survey and <br /> existing benchmarks. As work proceeds, check every major element for line, level <br /> and plumb. Maintain a surveyor's log or record book of such checks; make this log or <br /> record book available for the Architect or Engineer's reference. Record deviations <br /> from required lines and levels, and advise the Architect or Engineer promptly upon <br /> detection of deviations that exceed indicated or recognized tolerances. Record <br /> deviations which are accepted, and not corrected, on record drawings. <br /> 4. GENERAL INSTALLATION PROVISIONS <br /> 4.1. Pre-Installation Conferences: Hold a pre-installation meeting at the project site well <br /> before installation of each unit of work which requires coordination with other work. <br /> Installer and representatives of the manufacturers and fabricators who are involved in IJ <br /> or affected by that unit of work, and with its coordination or integration with other <br /> work that has preceded or will follow shall attend this meeting. Advise the <br /> Architect/Engineer of schedule meeting dates. <br /> 1. At each meeting review progress of other work and preparations for the <br /> particular work under consideration including specific requirements for the <br /> following: <br /> Contract documents <br /> Options <br /> Related change orders <br /> Purchases <br /> Deliveries <br /> Shop drawings,product data and quality control samples <br /> Possible conflicts and compatibility problems <br /> Time schedules <br /> Weather limitations <br /> Manufacturer's recommendations <br /> Compatibility of materials <br /> Acceptability of substrates <br /> Temporary facilities <br /> Space and access limitations <br /> Governing regulations <br /> Safety <br /> Inspection and testing requirements <br /> Required performance results <br /> Recording requirements <br /> Protection <br /> 02/19/13 <br /> I <br />
