CASCADE HIGH SCHOOL SYNTHETIC TURF FIELD <br /> EVERETT PUBLIC SCHOOLS 08/09/2013 <br /> PART 3 EXECUTION <br /> 3.1 EXAMINATION <br /> A. Contractor shall verify that site conditions are satisfactory to receive the work of this Section. <br /> Do not begin the work of this Section until unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected. <br /> Beginning the work of this Section constitutes the Contractor's acceptance of site conditions as <br /> satisfactory. <br /> 3.2 INSTALLATION AND CONDUCT OF WORK <br /> A. Provide wheel cleaning stations to clean wheels and undercarriage of trucks before leaving <br /> project area, as necessary to prevent dirt from being carried onto campus and public streets. If <br /> streets are fouled, clean immediately in conformance with local jurisdiction and all governing <br /> requirements and regulations. I <br /> B. Provide temporary erosion control measures as indicated on the Drawings,or as directed by the <br /> Owner, or City Inspector prior to beginning any work that will disturb the existing vegetation <br /> on the site. <br /> C. Provide erosion control measures to minimize impacts to the existing site conditions and to <br /> allow proper performance of other systems. <br /> D. Contractor shall maintain dust control during construction by use of water trucks or similar <br /> implementation. Air quality standards shall be maintained throughout the duration of the <br /> project. <br /> 3.3 SEDIMENTATION TANKS <br /> A. Provide temporary sedimentation tanks as shown on the plans to control drainage and <br /> sedimentation during construction. l <br /> B. Provide conveyance system both upstream and downstream of tanks consisting of pipes, flex <br /> hose,pumps and necessary fittings to adequately collect and transport drainage to and from the <br /> tanks. <br /> C. Relocate temporary tanks and supporting conveyance systems as necessary to allow phased <br /> construction of proposed improvements. <br /> 3.4 MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION <br /> A. Temporary erosion control measures shall be maintained as required to achieve proper <br /> performance, as required by the Owner's Representative or permit agency, and as indicated on <br /> the drawings. <br /> B. Use care during maintenance of erosion control facilities so as not to discharge collected <br /> sediment into downstream storm systems. <br /> TEMPORARY EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL 01 57 13-6 <br />
