Unit#FI 10 Everctt, Wash. 98203 Subj: Plan for Restoring Lake Outlet Weir Dear Ms. 5trong I have reviewed the plan by Perteet Engineering to restore the Beverly Lnke outlet. The plan calls for the lake outlet weir to be installed at an elevution 0.67 feet below the rim of the existing leke outlet catch basin. However, it is clenr from inspecting the inside of the lake outlet catch basin on August I5, 1997, that the previous weir was at an elevution 0.9 feet below the lake outlet cntch basin rim, prior to the grouting thet occurred in 1996. At the July 9, 1997 meeting of lakefront property owners the consensus opinion also was thnt the lake outlet was previously 0,9 feet below the rim of the leke outlet cntch basin. In letters dated lune 27, 1997, and July 3, 1997, you were directed to restore the leke outlet to the elevetion that existed prior to the grouting that occurred in 1996. Therefore, you nre directed to restore the lake outlet to 0.9 feet below the rim of the lake outlet weir, rather thnn 0.67 f'eet as shown un the pinn by Perteet Engineering. Setting the lake outlet weir to any elevntion other thnn 0.9 feet below the rim of the lake outlet catch basin will require a petition to the Snohumish County Superior Court, ns discussed in my July 3, 1997, letter. I um reminding you that this work is to be completed no later thnn Sept. 21, 1997, as you committed to do in your July 8, 1997 letter.
