2.0 Site Description <br /> The proposed project includes construction of the proposed FedEx Facility and related grading, <br /> paving,utilities, stormsewer and landscaping. The construction of the Hardeson Infiltration <br /> Basin is also included in this project. The project is located within Lot 1 and Tract 999 of <br /> Mountain View Business Center Division 9 and isbordered by Hardeson Rd to the west, Sievers <br /> Duecy Blvd to the south, Lot 3-Div.9 to the east, and commercial developments to the north. The <br /> site is divided into 1.82 acres for Tract 999 and 10.47 acres for development by Underwood <br /> Gartland as a FedEx facility. <br /> 2.1 Existing Conditions. <br /> The site is currently under reclamation by CEMEX. Slope reconstruction and preliminary <br /> grading shall be completed by CEMEX prior to this project. The majority of the site has been <br /> cleared of vegetation. <br /> Soil information at the project site was obtained from the Web Soil Survey website <br /> (http://websoilsurvey.nres.usda.gov/app/WebSoilSurvey.aspx)published by the United States <br /> Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service (MRCS). The soil series <br /> underlying the tributary area is comprised of Pits and Tokul soil series. The soil is classified as a <br /> Hydrologic Group C. Appendix B of this report contains copies of the soils map. <br /> 2.2 Proposed Construction Activities <br /> The project includes construction of the FedEx Facility and the Hardeson Infiltration Basin. <br /> Construction activities will include site preparation, TESC installation, earthwork, stormsewer, <br /> water and sanitary sewer installation, paving, and building construction.
