authority, it is determined that the SWPPP is ineffective in eliminating or
significantly minimizing pollutants in stormwater discharges from the site.
The SWPPP shall be modified as necessary to include additional or modified
BMPs designed to correct problems identified. Revisions to the SWPPP shall
be completed within seven (7) days following the inspection.
3.1.13 Element#13 —Protect Low Impact Development BMPs
Permittees must protect all LID facilities from sedimentation through installation and
maintenance of erosion and sediment control BMPs on portions of the site that drain into the LID
facilities. Restore the facilities to their fully functioning condition if they accumulate sediment
during construction. Restoring the facility must include removal of sediment and any sediment-
laden soils, and replacing the removed soils with soils meeting the design specification.
Permittees must maintain the infiltration capabilities of infiltration facilities by protecting against
compaction by construction equipment and foot traffic. Protect completed lawn and landscaped
areas from compaction due to construction equipment.
Permittees must keep all heavy equipment off existing soils under LID facilities that have been
excavated to final grade to retain the infiltration rate of the soils
The following LID protection measures will be applied on this project:
BMP C233: Silt Fence
BMP C220: Storm Drain Inlet Protection
BMP C207: Check Dams
BMP C209: Outlet Protection
3.2 Site-Specific BMPs
Site-specific BMPs are shown on the TESC Plan Sheets and Details in Appendix A.
•
UNDERWOOD GARTLAND JOHNSON 63,LLC April 2017
Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan Page 11
