A site visit to assess as-built conditions, analysis of the existing concrete waffle-slab roof framing <br /> system, and retrofit strengthening design/detailing as required to support a new HVAC unit that <br /> will likely weigh in the range of 1,500 to 2,000 lbs. <br /> 2. A seismic upgrade analysis and design for the building is not required and not included in our <br /> scope of work. <br /> 3. Quantum Consulting Engineers will provide structural drawing and stamped calculations for the <br /> rooftop HVAC unit support based on the 2015 IBC for permit submittal to the City of Everett, <br /> including addressing all structurally related permit review comments as needed to help obtain a <br /> building permit. <br /> 4. Any design changes made after the permit submittal shall be subject to a redesign fee and <br /> negotiated separately. <br /> MECHANICAL UNIT DESIGN: <br /> The services of a Mechanical Engineer will be required for sizing future HVAC units that will be needed <br /> for the future tenant improvements.The unit(s) will be sized for structural support but will not be <br /> installed at this time. Heat and cooling load calculations to accurately size the unit. <br /> 3. Help identify the best location structurally and to either be within the existing screened area or <br /> propose a new location with new screening. <br /> 4. Select a representative unit and coordinate a specific curb with the structural engineer. <br /> 5. Indicate roof jacks/pitch pockets to accommodate roof penetrations for power, controls and gas <br /> line. <br /> Deliverable Documents: <br /> 1.
