CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> Do NOT impair accessibility to existing or temporary pedestrian push buttons. <br /> City may allow activating pedestrian recall timing or other accommodations during <br /> construction. , <br /> Supplement 1-07.23(1) by adding the following: <br /> Colby Avenue lane closure restrictions: <br /> No single lane closures will be permitted weekdays between 3:00 pm and <br /> 6:00 pm, with no restrictions on weekends. No two lane closures will be <br /> permitted between 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and weekends will not be permitted <br /> between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Changes of traffic signal operation from <br /> normal operation to flashing or dark stop and go operation will not be allowed <br /> from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. <br /> No single lane closures on Colby Avenue within 200 feet of the Pacific Avenue ' <br /> intersection will be permitted between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. No two lane <br /> closures will be permitted between 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm. <br /> W Mukilteo Boulevard lane closure restrictions: I <br /> No single lane closures will be permitted weekdays between 2:00 pm and <br /> 5:30 pm. with no restrictions on weekends. <br /> If Engineer determines the permitted closure hours adversely affect traffic, the <br /> Engineer may adjust the hours accordingly. The Engineer will notify the <br /> Contractor in writing of any change in the closure hours. <br /> No lane closures will be allowed on a holiday or holiday weekend, or after 12:00 <br /> p.m. on a day prior to a holiday or holiday weekend. A holiday weekend is defined <br /> as having a holiday fall on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday. <br /> Provide a uniformed off-duty Police Officer to control traffic in critical situations as <br /> determined by the Engineer. The uniformed officer shall be paid under contract <br /> item "Traffic Control — Off-Duty Police Officer." <br /> Notify the local Fire, Police and Engineering Departments before the beginning of <br /> each phase of construction so that these agencies may re-route their emergency <br /> vehicles around the construction zone. The non-emergency phone number for <br /> Everett Police is 258-2484, for Fire Dispatch is 257-8757, and for Public Works 111 <br /> Engineering is 257-8800. <br /> Notify City of Everett Transit at 425-257-8984 and Community Transit at 425-348- <br /> 7100 of all street closures or delays at least 24 hours in advance to enable 111 <br /> rerouting of buses. <br /> Notify the property owners at least 72 hours in advance to enable them to remove <br /> vehicles parked in the vicinity of Work.
