City may allow activating pedestrian recall timing or other accommodations during construction. , Supplement 1-07.23(1) by adding the following: Colby Avenue lane closure restrictions: No single lane closures will be permitted weekdays between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm, with no restrictions on weekends. No two lane closures will be permitted between 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and weekends will not be permitted between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Changes of traffic signal operation from normal operation to flashing or dark stop and go operation will not be allowed from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. No single lane closures on Colby Avenue within 200 feet of the Pacific Avenue ' intersection will be permitted between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. No two lane closures will be permitted between 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm. W Mukilteo Boulevard lane closure restrictions: I No single lane closures will be permitted weekdays between 2:00 pm and 5:30 pm. with no restrictions on weekends. If Engineer determines the permitted closure hours adversely affect traffic, the Engineer may adjust the hours accordingly. The Engineer will notify the Contractor in writing of any change in the closure hours. No lane closures will be allowed on a holiday or holiday weekend, or after 12:00 p.m. on a day prior to a holiday or holiday weekend. A holiday weekend is defined as having a holiday fall on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Provide a uniformed off-duty Police Officer to control traffic in critical situations as determined by the Engineer. The uniformed officer shall be paid under contract item "Traffic Control — Off-Duty Police Officer." Notify the local Fire, Police and Engineering Departments before the beginning of each phase of construction so that these agencies may re-route their emergency vehicles around the construction zone. Notify City of Everett Transit at 425-257-8984 and Community Transit at 425-348- 7100 of all street closures or delays at least 24 hours in advance to enable 111 rerouting of buses. Notify the property owners at least 72 hours in advance to enable them to remove vehicles parked in the vicinity of Work. Towing vehicles shall be the responsibility of the Contractor and no additional payment will be made.
