<br /> I complete in place on the watermain, including but not limited to, dewatering; removal and
<br /> disposal of existing curb and gutter, and sidewalk; excavation, removal, hauling, and
<br /> disposal of excavated materials; furnishing, jointing, and installing valves and valve boxes
<br /> I with extensions if necessary; installing temporary concrete thrust blocks; restraint systems:
<br /> painting; flushing and disinfecting; furnishing, installing, compacting, and testing bedding
<br /> and backfill materials; constructing asphalt concrete pad around valve box if necessary;
<br /> cleanup; and any additional work, materials. and equipment required to install the valves
<br /> Iand assembly, except as included in other unit price bids.
<br /> Bid Item 25 - Fire Hydrant
<br /> I Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA)
<br /> The unit price per each shall be full compensation for all work to furnish and install fire
<br /> hydrant in accordance with Parts B, C, E, F, I, and J noted in COE Standard Drawing No.
<br /> I 507. Work includes, yet not limited to, all costs for clearing and grubbing; excavation.
<br /> removal, haul and disposal of excavated materials; furnishing, installing, testing, and
<br /> disinfecting new fire hydrant; shoring; dewatering; furnishing, installing and compacting
<br /> bedding and backfill materials; and plastic film wrap required for the complete installation of
<br /> Ithe hydrant as specified.
<br /> Bid Item 26 - Relocate Existing Fire Hydrant
<br /> I Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA)
<br /> The unit contract price for Relocate Existing Fire Hydrant shall constitute full compensation
<br /> for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for salvaging the existing hydrant,
<br /> I and providing assembly in accordance with COE Std Drawing No. 512 or as modified and
<br /> supplemented herein, in the location shown on the Plans, including but not limited to, all
<br /> gaskets, bolts, pipe, nipples, adapters, couplings, fittings, restraint systems, vertical bends,
<br /> I all other necessary appurtenances, temporary thrust blocking, trench excavation, sheeting
<br /> and shoring and dewatering, backfill and compaction of native material, maintenance,
<br /> restoration and relocation, if required, of culverts, storm drainage pipe, other utilities and
<br /> structures, pressure and purity testing, including temporary blow-offs necessary for testing,
<br /> IIextra depth excavation. backfill and compaction required to clear buried utilities or other
<br /> obstructions and cutting, and removal and disposal of existing pipe.
