<br /> I The unit contract price for Water Service Connection, =Inch, shall constitute full
<br /> compensation for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to connect new
<br /> inch PE service lines off new 2-Inch PE and reconnecting with the existing service line in
<br /> accordance with Detail 4, Drawing D1. Work includes, yet not limited to, tee, trench
<br /> I excavation, backfill and compaction; street pavement, concrete curb, concrete curb and
<br /> gutter, concrete driveway and concrete sidewalk removal; clearing and grubbing; testing;
<br /> lawn restoration including seeding or sodding; dewatering; and removal or abandonment of
<br /> Iexisting service connection.
<br /> Bid Item 35 - Connect to Water Service, 4-inch
<br /> I Bid Item 36 - Connect to Water Service, 6-inch
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA)
<br /> The unit contract price for Connect to Water Service, -Inch, shall constitute full
<br /> I compensation for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to connect new =
<br /> inch ductile iron service lines from the tee on the new main to reconnecting with the existing
<br /> service line, including yet not limited to, tee, reducers; pipe installation; restrained joint
<br /> I fittings; trench excavation, backfill and compaction; street pavement, concrete curb,
<br /> concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveway and concrete sidewalk removal; clearing and
<br /> grubbing; testing; lawn restoration including seeding or sodding; connection to existing
<br /> service line including fittings and new pipe matching existing diameter and material;
<br /> Idewatering; and removal or abandonment of existing service connection.
<br /> Bid Item 37 - Topsoil, Type A and Seeding
<br /> I Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard (SY)
<br /> Measurement for providing 4-inch thick Topsoil, Type A shall be limited to dimensions and
<br /> work limits defined in the work descriptions for other bid items, shown on the Plans, details
<br /> I or COE Standard Drawings or as otherwise approved by the Engineer.
<br /> The unit price per square yard for Topsoil, Type A & Seeding shall be full compensation for
<br /> all labor, compaction, material, tools, and equipment necessary to provide compacted 4
<br /> I inches thick imported Topsoil, Type A for the Work as required, from a Contractor-supplied
<br /> source in accordance with the Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions.
<br /> The unit price for Topsoil. Type A & Seeding includes all costs for hauling, stockpiling.
<br /> I placing, grading, compacting, seeding, and controlling moisture content.
<br /> Also to be included in this bid item shall be the cost of all subgrade preparation and grader
<br /> work, or any other equipment required to establish correct surfaces to proper grade before
<br /> I the topsoil is placed, as well as all equipment required to spread and compact the topsoil
<br /> uniformly on the surface to be seeded. Also included shall be the costs for removing,
<br /> loading, hauling, and disposing of unsuitable or displaced materials.
<br /> I Include cost of sprinkling during dry periods prior to placement of the topsoil and while
<br /> spreading and compacting the material along with turf establishment in the unit price for
<br /> this bid item.
<br /> Payment for Topsoil, Type A & Seeding will be determined by the square yard as measured
<br /> 111 in place.
<br /> Bid Item 38 - Monument Cases
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA)
<br /> The unit price per each for monument case shall be full compensation for furnishing and
<br /> placing the survey monument and monument case and cover, in accordance with the COE
