Bid Item 39 - Temporary Pavement Patch Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard (SY) Measurement for Temporary Pavement Patch shall be by the square yard placed within the sawcut neatlines limits of dimensions defined in the Work, descriptions for other bid items, shown on the Plans, or COE Standard Drawings, or as otherwise approved by the Engineer. , The unit price per square yard for Temporary Pavement Patch in accordance with Standard Specifications, 5-06.3(6) of these Special Provisions and as shown on the Plans shall be full compensation for all work necessary to complete Temporary Pavement Patch in accordance with these specifications. Regardless of duration or sequence of work, this item will be measured and paid one time. Bid Item 40 - Crushed Surfacing Top Course I Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Ton (TON) Measurement for crushed surfacing top course will be by the ton as recorded on certified weight tickets in accordance with 1-09.2 WEIGHING EQUIPMENT and limited to dimensions defined in the Work, descriptions for other bid items, shown on the Plans, details or COE Standard Drawings or as otherwise approved by the Engineer. Crushed Surfacing Top Course material placed exceeding "neatline" quantities without advance111 authorization by the Inspector will not be paid for. The unit price per ton shall be full compensation for all labor, compaction, material, tools, and equipment necessary to furnish, haul. stockpile, place, grade, and compact imported crushed surfacing top course for the Work as required, from a Contractor supplied source in accordance with the Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions. The unit price for crushed surfacing top course also includes all costs for controlling I moisture content. Also included in this bid item shall be the cost of all equipment required to remove existing soils to attain proper elevations, compaction of native subgrade soils, as well as to uniformly spread and compact the crushed surfacing material. The unit price for this bid item includes all costs for removing, loading and disposing of displaced unsuitable material, including haul. Include in this bid item the cost of sprinkling during dry periods prior to placement of the crushed surfacing and while spreading and compacting the material. Payment for crushed surfacing top course will be by the ton of material placed and I approved by the Inspector. Bid Item 41 - Cement Concrete Pavement Base (H.E.S.) for Trench Patch Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard (SY) Measurement for Cement Concrete Pavement, (H.E.S.) shall be per square yard as delineated by the Contractor and approved by the Inspector prior to removal. The unit price per square yard for Cement Concrete Pavement Base (H.E.S), shall be full compensation for all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to complete the Work in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Section 5 of the Standard , Specifications and 5-06.3 and 5-06.3 of these Special Provisions.
