January 9, 2019 <br /> attended the Riverside Neighborhood meeting last evening where <br /> neighbors expressed concern about the prolonged closure of the <br /> northbound lanes of Maple Street due to the September Judd & Black <br /> building fire. Additionally, President Bader reported that he visited Everett <br /> Fire Department Stations 2 and 6. He expressed concern that the old and <br /> dated living quarters were not conducive for housing female firefighters, and <br /> encouraged the City to update living quarters at these stations. <br /> Mayor Franklin stated that Paul Kaftanski, Administration, plans to conduct <br /> an infrastructure evaluation, and they will take a closer look at Fire Stations <br /> 2 and 6 and report back to Council. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Chief of Staff Lyle Ryan stated the City is actively working to get the street <br /> barriers removed near the Judd and Black building. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles had no comments. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> There were no citizens who wished to speak. <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA: <br /> Award Construction contract for the construction of Cleveland <br /> Avenue Sewer Replacement and Storm water Separation to the low, <br /> responsive and responsible bidder in the amount of$6,016,496.52, <br /> including Washington State sales tax. <br /> Presented by Souheil Nasr, Public Works <br /> 12 <br />
