I <br /> City of Everett 00 7300 - 2 <br /> Evergreen Branch Library Expansion 2017-008 <br /> PART 5 -WORKING HOURS <br /> 5.1 General Contractor will be required to provide a project schedule that clearly defines ■ <br /> each phase of work including planned facility closure(s), length of time area(s) <br /> is/are to be closed, and projected reopening of affected area(s). <br /> A. Contractor will coordinate with Owner to schedule approximately five (5) to seven (7) <br /> days into project schedule for city forces to pull low voltage wire (to occur after drywall <br /> and before ceiling grid installation) and to install hearing loop work. Additional hearing <br /> loop work will be needed in designated locations prior to carpet installation. <br /> 5.2 Work Hours: The Contractor shall provide work schedule. Facility will not be occupied <br /> during construction. The Contractor will have full access to facility. <br /> A. The City has established regulations for control of noise in residential zoned property. I <br /> For the purpose of regulating potential disruptive or annoying noise, Ordinance No. <br /> 1556-89 states that all residential zoned land fall within Noise Control No. 1. <br /> 1. Therefore, it should be noted that under the City's Noise Ordinance, construction <br /> related noise is limited to the following hours: <br /> a. 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekdays <br /> b. 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekends and state recognized holidays I <br /> 5.3 Be aware that all construction sites will be monitored and violators are subject to fines. <br /> 5.4 Construction contractors are responsible for notifying subcontractors of the City's noise <br /> regulations. <br /> 5.5 (Discussion of altering business operating schedule will be determined at Pre- <br /> Construction Meeting) Other hours may be considered on a limited basis without <br /> interruption of Owner's normal operations (Owner will determine if proposed work may <br /> interrupt Owner's operations). All requests for working hours other than those stated <br /> above shall be made exclusively through the Owner's Representative. <br /> PART 6 - RESTROOMS I <br /> 6.1 Contractor Access: The Contractor shall provide portable toilets to be positioned in <br /> locations where they will not pose a health problem or obstruct entry into the facility. <br /> Ensure portable toilets have the ability to be locked and secured as to prevent <br /> unauthorized use and vandalism. <br /> PART 7 - OWNER OCCUPATION AND OPERATIONS <br /> I <br /> 00 7300 - 2 SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> I <br />
