• <br /> E. The City shall grant Appointive Officers leave of absence <br /> with pay for the following reasons : <br /> 1 <br /> 1. Sick leave. Upon employment with the City, Appointive <br /> 2 Officers shall have available immediately ten (10) <br /> days of sick leave with pay. All Appointive Employees <br /> 3 shall accrue sick leave at a rate of two (2) days per <br /> month to a total maximum of one hundred-twenty (120) <br /> 4 days. While still actively employed with the City <br /> of Everett, should any monthly disability payment be <br /> 5 made to the Appointive Officer as a benefit resulting <br /> from any insurance ceverage provided by the City, the <br /> 6 City shall only pay the difference between the amount <br /> of the benefit and the Appointive Officer ' s normal <br /> 7 monthly salary. In no case shall such sick leave <br /> payment exceed one hundred-twenty (120) work days at <br /> 8 eight (8) hours per day. <br /> 9 2 . Funeral Leave. When approved by the Mayor, Appointive <br /> Officers shall be granted reasonably necessary time <br /> 10 off with pay to assist with funeral arrangements and <br /> to attend funeral services. <br /> 11 <br /> Section 2 : City Council : <br /> 12 <br /> A. Members of the City Council of the City of Everett who <br /> 13 request coverage under the City' s medical insurance plan <br /> shall be granted such coverage to be comprised of the <br /> 14 following: <br /> 15 1. Basic medical and major medical coverage for the <br /> Councilman and his dependents. <br /> 16 <br /> 2. Major dental coverage for the Councilman and his de- <br /> 17 pendents. <br /> 18 Section 3 : Mayor: <br /> 19 A. The Mayor of the City of Everett shall be granted all items <br /> of non-salary compensation granted to Appointive Officers <br /> 20 as specified in Section 1 hereinabove. <br /> 21 Section 4 : Repealing: <br /> 22 A.
