I <br /> 1 SECTION 01010 <br /> SUMMARY OF WORK <br /> I <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 1 1.1 SUMMARY <br /> A. General work included in this section: <br /> 1. Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment required in accordance with provisions <br /> of the Contract Documents. <br /> 2. Completely coordinate with work of all other trades <br /> I 3. Although such work may not be specifically indicated, furnish and install all <br /> miscellaneous items incidental to or necessary. <br /> 1.2 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT <br /> I <br /> A. The Work includes but is not limited to the furnishing of the labor, materials, and <br /> equipment and the construction of the following: excavate, relocate, and haul off-site <br /> I embankment and surcharge material from the Everett Landfill, installation and <br /> maintenance of erosion control best-management-practices, construction of a <br /> temporary service road, removal of contaminated soil material and hauling to an <br /> approved off-site facility, re-grading of the site, salvage and placement of borrow, <br /> I <br /> demolition of existing walls, cement augmentation of the finished surface, and <br /> modifications to the abandoned Lift Station 20. <br /> I B. Contract requires specific work that must be completed to comply with the <br /> regulatory protection requirements in critical areas and within a Department of <br /> Ecology regulated site within the Model Toxics Control Act. The Contractor is <br /> required to meet all permit and Consent Decree conditions; non-compliance with <br /> I <br /> permit conditions is subject to penalties and/or fines,and shall be the sole <br /> responsibility of the Contractor. See Section 01060— Permit Conditions and <br /> Regulatory Requirements. In addition,the Contractor must comply with the <br /> IRemedial Actions for Development Components,as described in Appendix H. <br /> 1.3 CONTRACTOR'S USE OF PREMISES <br /> I <br /> A. Contractor shall limit his use of the premises for Work and storage and allow for: <br /> 1. Work by other contractors/subcontractors. <br /> 2. Owner occupancy. <br /> I B. Coordinate use ofremises under direction of Owner and Owner's Representative. <br /> p P <br /> C. Assumes full responsibility for the protection and safekeeping of products and materials <br /> Contractor has stored on the site. <br /> D. Move any stored products, or materials, under Contractor's responsibility, which <br /> interfere with operations of Owner. <br /> E. Obtain and pay for the use of any additional storage or work areas if needed for <br /> IContractor operations. <br /> F.
