' I INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS 1.1 General Description and Location of Project The workperformed will includes, but isnot limited to be to, installation and maintenance of erosion control best-management-practices, removal of contaminated soil material and hauling to I an approved off-site facility, re-grading of the site, salvage and placement of borrow, demolition of existing walls, cement augmentation of the finished surface, and modifications to the abandoned Lift Station 20, and furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to I perform all work as required by the contract in accordance with the Contract Plans, Specifications and Standard Specifications, all of which are made a part hereof. The project site is located within the Everett Landfill east of I-5 and west of the Snohomish IRiver, and south of 36th Street. The project site also includes the "GTS Drywall" site just north of 36th Street and east of the BNSF right of way. See Section 01060—Regulatory Requirements IIIfor description of project easements. III 1.3 Standard Specifications I The following other specifications and standard plans shall apply to the extent to which they are called out in these plans and specifications. 1 1. WSDOT "2010 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction", as amended by the APWA Supplements, hereinafter referred to as the "Standard Specifications." I 2. City of Everett"Design and Construction Standards and Specifications" (Revised 1-08). 1 3. "Standard Plans for Road and Bridge Construction,"as prepared by WSDOT. 4. "Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices" (MUTCD). 1 5. APWA Standards. 6. AWWA Standards. I 1.4 Filling in Proposal Forms IBidders must submit proposals on the forms found in the proposal specifications. All blank spaces in the proposal form shall be properly filled in. In addition to writing in the bid amount in I numbers, be sure and write out the bid in words in the space provided in the Proposal. Where conflict occurs, the written or typed words shall prevail.
