January 30, 2019 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., January 30, 2019, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members <br /> Roberts, Moore, Vogeli, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Murphy was excused. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the January 23, 2019, City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATH — POLICE OFFICERS <br /> Moved by Council Member Moore, seconded by Council Member <br /> Tuohy, to concur with the appointments of Jim Crissman and <br /> Corissa Calico as new police officers. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member <br /> Murphy who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The City Clerk administered the oath of office, and Mayor Franklin <br /> presented the officers with their badges. <br /> Mayor Franklin thanked members of the Police and Fire Departments for <br /> their outstanding work in response to tragic incidences that occurred this <br /> week. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Vogeli expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to <br /> spend time last week with city first responders. <br /> 36 <br />
