Piping from the existing hydrant to the new #i fire hydrant is to be iz", <br />same as piping to Nie existing h}�drant. (Piping to #2 and #3 hydrant is <br />still 8"). <br />c. Contractor to rw� the ne�v piping, but the piping connection to the existing <br />hydrant for piping to the new # i hydrant will Ue made by City crews. <br />Ser•uice Wnter <br />d. The sei��ce water is to Ue supplied from a connection ro Hydrant #2, not <br />#i. Kun the i-i/2" line imder the new pad Uefore pa��ng. <br />e. Add another service water hydrant at the west edge of the pad. Protect this <br />liydrant ���th a square of ecolog}� Ulocks. <br />f. �ach of the sen�ce water hydrants is to Uc equipped ��rith a back flow <br />prevention de��ce in the i-i/2" line. <br />3. All ne��� piping is to Ue disinfected prior to being put in sei��ce. Blank the ends <br />of the lines �vhere they connect to the City se���ce and fil] ���th water containing <br />chlorine bleach according to il�e section on page �4 of the City specs. L.eave <br />overnight aml flusli �vell the next day by connecting to the Cih� sen�ce and <br />running �vater thru the new lines. <br />
