Where changes of elevation ocar in the means of egress, those decails should be shown <br />on the drewings, per IBC chapter 10. <br />2. The signage per IBC section 1008.1.93 should be shown on the earess side (inside) on <br />the drewings. Currentiv this siqn is shown to be posted on the outside of the buildinq <br />on the drawinqs. <br />3. If the exit discharge is located where access to a pubGc way cannot be provided, a safe <br />dispersal area should be shown on the archilectural site plan, per IBC section 1027.6. <br />Construction <br />1. The construction Noe of the buildinq should be shown in the code analysis, oer IBC <br />table 503. <br />2. A new guard should be shown in detail and dimensions for the mechanical mezzanine, <br />per IMC section 304.11, if the mezzanine will still be used for mechanical access. <br />3. For both required exits, please provide a section through the thresholds connecting <br />Youth Center with the exterior landings, per IBC section 1008.1.5. <br />Accessibility <br />1. A chanqe of occupancy to A-3 should indude the following accessibility revisions shown <br />on the architectural site olan, per IBC sections 3411.4.2 and 1104.1: <br />. One accessible building entrance. <br />. An accessible route connecting accessible parking to an accessible entrance. <br />2. Alter�[ions onlv (B occuqancy� require an accessible entrance to the orimarv function <br />area, oer IBC ser.tion 3411J. The drawinqs and suppurting documents should indicat_e <br />that at least 20% of the costs of the altcreti�ns affectinq the area_ of primarv function <br />have been allocated to this requirement. <br />3. Both toilet rooms sho�ld be shown with signagc on the plans as unisex, where the new <br />toilet room is also siqned as accessible, to complv with IBC sections 2902.2 and 1109.2. <br />Energy <br />1. A change of occupancy to A-3 requires that the building envelon� should be shown on <br />the drawings to meet the requirements for a new buildinq, per WSEC �i01.4. <br />a. Calculations should be submitted. Wall sections and materials should be shown <br />on the drawinqs with the component R or U values referenced in the <br />calculations. <br />�/� <br />
