a RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION for the proposed vacation of a portion of State Street, a portion of 17th Street, and the alleyways within Blocks 324 and 325, Plat of Riverdale Addition. WHEREAS,the owners of more than two-thirds of the front footage of a portion of State Street, a portion of 17th Street, and alleyways within Blocks 324 and 325, Plat of Riverdale Addition, as more legally described as follows: ALL THOSE PORTIONS OF: THE NORTH—SOUTH ALLEY WITHIN BLOCK 324, RIVERDALE ADDITION,ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN VOLUME 10 OF PLATS,PAGE 45, IN SNOHOMISH COUNTY,WASHINGTON. THE EAST—WEST ALLEY WITHIN BLOCK 324, RIVERDALE ADDITION, LYING BETWEEN THE WESTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF GRAND AVENUE AND THE SOUTHERLY PROJECTED EAST LINE OF LOT 9 OF SAID BLOCK 324. 17TH STREET BETWEEN THE LIMITS OF THE WESTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF GRAND AVENUE AND THE SOUTHERLY PROJECTED EAST LINE OF LOT 20, BLOCK 324,RIVERDALE ADDITION. THE EAST-WEST ALLEY WITHIN BLOCK 325, RIVERDALE ADDITION, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN VOLUME 10 OF PLATS, PAGE 45, IN SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WASHINGTON. STATE STREET BETWEEN THE LIMITS OF THE SOUTH MARGIN OF 16TH STREET TO A LINE BETWEEN THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 26, BLOCK 325, OF SAID RIVERDALE ADDITION AND THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 5, BLOCK 324, OF SAID PLAT OF RIVERDALE ADDITION. have petitioned for the vacation of said right of way; and WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79.010 provides that City Council shall, by resolution, fix a date for public hearing on said petition; NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF . EVERETT that a public hearing be set for March 6th, 2019, at 6:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at 3002 Wetmore Avenue,to consider the proposed vacation of aforesaid right-of-way as herein described.
