1 <br /> CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> An orifice plate shall be supplied with each cartridge to restrict flow rate to a <br /> maximum of 22.5 gpm at system design head or as specified on drawings. <br /> Steel catch basins shall be all welded steel construction, fabricated from ASTM <br /> A36 'A-inch steel and shall be designed to withstand AASHTO H-20 wheel loads <br /> when placed below ground in a location that could receive direct loading. <br /> Catch basin inlet grates and solid lids shall meet the requirements of Section 9- <br /> 05.15(2). Inlet grates shall be ductile iron locking vaned grates. Catch basin grates <br /> shall include the stamping "DUMP NO WASTE. DRAINS TO RIVER" and "Property <br /> of Everett, WA." 1 <br /> Catch basin frames and grates shall be the bolt down type. Grates shall be vaned <br /> grates. Bolts shall be 5/8" — 11 NC stainless Type 304 steel socket head (alien <br /> head) cap screws 2"long treated with anti-seize lubricant. <br /> SUBMITTALS <br /> The Contractor shall submit Type 3 Working Drawings to the Engineer in <br /> accordance with Section 1-05.3 for the Filtration Catch Basin prior to ordering and <br /> installing the system. The submittal shall include materials of construction, <br /> dimensions, specifications, and configuration related to other proposed aspects of <br /> construction. <br /> The contractor shall submit the manufacturers approved installation, operations. <br /> for and maintenance manualivi the system. <br /> Filterras <br /> Filterras for bioretention and filtration of stormwater shall use physical, chemical <br /> and biological mechanisms of soil, plant and microbe complex to remove pollutants <br /> typically found in urban stormwater runoff. The treatment system shall be a fully ' <br /> equipped, pre-constructed, drop-in-place unit designed for applications in the <br /> urban land .dpe to ti eat contaminated runoff from impervious surfaces.The dealer <br /> or manufacturer shall furnish to the Contractor all required engineering assistance ' <br /> required to place all tree box filter components in accordance with the approved <br /> drawings and these specifications. <br /> Each unit shall consist of a precast concrete container together with an underdrain ' <br /> system, filter media, plant material, and appropriate tree grate with a manufacturer <br /> recommended shrub, <br /> Plants shall be as follows: <br /> Structure Plant Size <br /> F641 Silver King Euonymus 5 Gal. <br /> F642 Slender Hinoki Cypress 5 - 6' <br /> F662 Silver King Euonymus 5 Gal. <br /> Cleveland Avenue Division 7—DRAINAGE STRUCTURES, November 2018 <br /> Sewer System Replacement and STORM SEWERS,SANITARY SEWERS, <br /> Storm Water Separation WATER MAINS,AND CONDUITS <br /> Work Order No. UP3398 SP-174 <br />
