I <br /> CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> I <br /> Bid items of Work completed pursuant to the Contract Documents will be measured as <br /> I described in Division B — Bid Item Descriptions of these Special Provisions and Section <br /> 1-09 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT of the Standard Specifications. <br /> 7-05.5 Payment <br /> IDelete all paragraphs of 7-05.5 and substitute the following: <br /> Payment for bid items of Work completed pursuant to the Contract Documents will be <br /> as described in Division B — Bid Item Descriptions of these Special Provisions and <br /> tSection 1-09 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT of the Standard Specifications. <br /> 7-06 VACANT <br /> IDelete 7-06 and substitute the following: <br /> 7-06 WATER QUALITY TREATMENT STRUCTURES <br /> I7-06.1 Description <br /> This work consists of furnishing and installing StormFilter Catch Basins, Filterras, and <br /> I Modular Wetlands Systems (MWS) and appurtenances in the configuration and location <br /> designated in the plans and in accordance with these Special Provisions. <br /> 7-06.2 Materials <br /> I <br /> StormFilter Catch Basin <br /> Each unit shall consist of a steel structure with appropriately sized and placed inlet <br /> and outlet pipes, filter cartridges with specified filter media, baffles, ABS and PVC <br /> I manifolds and all necessary internal components, complete and operable as <br /> shown on the contract drawings. <br /> I StormFilter Catch Basins shall be supplied by one manufacturer. Shop drawings <br /> of each structure shall be submitted for review prior to fabrication. <br /> I StormFilter Catch Basin, =Inch Cartridge systems shall have certification of <br /> General Use Level Designation (GULD)from the State of Washington Department <br /> of Ecology. The filter media shall consist of a Zeolite-Perlite-Granular activated <br /> I carbon. Cartridges with an 18-inch height shall have a minimum flow rate of 7.5 <br /> gallons per minute (gpm), and cartridges with a 27-inch height shall have a <br /> minimum flow rate of 11.25 gpm. <br /> ABS manifold pipe shall meet ASTM F628. PVC manifold pipe shall meet ASTM <br /> D1785 and PVC fittings shall meet ASTM D2466. <br /> IFilter cartridge bottom pan, inner ring, and hood shall be constructed from linear <br /> low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) or ABS. Filter cartridge screen shall consist of <br /> I1 " x '/" welded wire fabric (16 gauge minimum) with a bonded PVC coating. <br /> internal parts shall consist of ABS or PVC material. Siphon-priming float shall be <br /> constructed from high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
