I <br /> This lump sum bid item includes the maintenance and protection of traffic control measure <br /> materials, tools, and equipment necessary and incidental in accordance with Section 1-10.3(2) <br /> of the Special Provisions, including but not limited to, signs, barricades, cones. flashers, reader <br /> boards, and temporary pavement markings. Also included is providing traffic control supervisor, <br /> and any cost associated with preparation and distribution of public notices involving parking, <br /> street access or traffic issues. <br /> Measurement for maintenance and protection of traffic control shall be the ratio of the number of <br /> working days completed to the total number of working days authorized in the Contract. <br /> Bid Items A-7 and B-7— SAWCUTTING PAVEMENT, FINAL JOINT CUT, UP TO 6-INCH <br /> THICKNESS <br /> Specification Section 2-02 <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot I <br /> The unit price per lineal foot for the final sawcutting of asphalt or concrete road or street <br /> pavement, up to 6-inch thickness, shall be full compensation for all labor, material, incidentals, <br /> tools, and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the work as defined in Section 2-02 of <br /> the Standard Specifications and these specifications and as shown on the Contract Plans. The <br /> unit price per lineal foot for the final sawcutting of asphalt or concrete road or street pavement, <br /> up to 6-inch thickness, includes the sawcutting necessary for the final joint between existing <br /> pavement and permanent HMA or cement concrete pavement. Sawcutting for the initial <br /> excavation and installation of sanitary sewer and appurtenances shall be incidental to those bid <br /> items. <br /> The cost of cleanup by vacuum collection and disposal of the cuttings slurry is considered <br /> incidental to this bid item. <br /> Measurement for sawcutting will be per linear foot along the true length of the surface cut. <br /> Bid Items A-8 and B-8 — SAWCUTTING PAVEMENT, FINAL JOINT CUT, <br /> ADDITIONAL 1-INCH THICKNESS <br /> Specification Section 2-02 <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot <br /> The unit price per square foot for the final sawcutting of asphalt or concrete road or street <br /> pavement thickness, for each 1-inch depth beyond the initial 6-inch thickness, shall be full <br /> compensation for all labor, material; incidentals, tools, and equipment necessary to satisfactorily <br /> complete the work as defined in Section 2-02 of the Standard Specifications and these <br /> specifications and as shown on the Contract Plans.
