I CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS DIVISION 1 - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Supplement Division 1 by adding the following: General Description and Location of Project Work being performed includes furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct new pipe conveyance system to separate, collect. and treat stormwater from existing combined sewer system; rehabilitate and replace existing combined sewer collection systems; and street/sidewalk restoration. Project involves construction of approximately 6.000 LF of new storm drainage pipe (4-inch to 24-inch dia.) with approximately 61 catch basin and manhole structures and approximately 10 water quality treatment structures. Construction of approximately 5,300 LF of existing combined sewer replacements (8-inch to 12-inch dia.)with approximately 32 manhole structures (48-inch to 72-inch)and reconnection of 108 existing side sewers; asphalt street restoration; curb, gutter, sidewalk, and curb ramp reconstruction; and other such appurtenances and performing all Work as required by the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Plans and Contract Provisions. The Project is in Everett, Washington, and is generally located on alley way situated west of E Grand Avenue from 26th Street to 20th Street; Cleveland Avenue from 26th Street to 21st Street; alley way situated west of Cleveland Avenue from north of 26th Street to 24th Street; alley way situated west of Harrison Avenue from north of Everett Avenue to north of 25th Street; Summit Avenue from California Street to 26th Street: California Street from Summit Avenue to Harrison Avenue; alley way situated north of California Street from east of 1 Interstate-5 to west of Harrison Avenue;AND alley way situated north of Everett Avenue from east of Interstate-5 to Harrison Avenue. Standard Specifications All Work under this Contract shall be performed in accordance with the following Specifications except as may be exempted or modified by other sections of these Contract Documents. These Specifications are incorporated by reference, made a part of this Contract and shall control and guide all activities within this Project whether referred to directly, paragraph by paragraph. WSDOT/APWA "2018 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction," as amended by the APWA Supplements, hereinafter referred to as the "Standard Specifications." The Standard Specifications, as modified or supplemented by the Amendments to the Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions, all of which are made a part of the Contract Documents, shall govern all of the Work. The following latest edition of other specifications and standard plans shall apply to the extent to which they are called out in these Plans and Special Provisions. I1.
