I CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS I standards of apprenticeship under chapter 49.04 RCW for the one-year period I immediately preceding the date of the bid solicitation, 1-02.1(2) Supplemental Bidder Responsibility Criteria (******) I This Project will not be subject to supplemental bidder responsibility criteria. 1-02.2 Plans and Specifications Delete all paragraphs in 1-02.2 and substitute the following: IInformation as to where Bid Documents can be obtained or reviewed will be found in the Call for Bids (Advertisement for Bids) for the Work. I 1-02.4 Examination of Plans, Specifications, and Site of Work 1-02.4(1) General Delete the fifth paragraph of 1-02.4(1), beginning with "Bid prices shall reflect," and I substitute the following: Bid prices shall include everything necessary for the completion of the Work including, but not limited to, providing the materials, equipment, tools, plant and I other facilities, and the management, superintendence, labor, and all necessary testing services. Revise the first sentence in the last paragraph to read as follows: I Any prospective Bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the Bid Documents, shall request the explanation or interpretation in writing by close of business three business days preceding the bid opening to allow a written reply to reach all prospective Bidders before the submission of their Bids. ISupplement 1-02.4(1) by adding the following: Bidder acknowledges that he/she has not relied on representation or warranty of I the City not expressly included in the Contract Documents. The information provided by the City is not intended to be a substitute for, or a supplement to. the independent verification by the Bidder to the extent such independent investigation of the Drawings and Specifications or Site conditions is I deemed necessary or desirable by the Bidder. Bidder acknowledges that they have not relied upon City or Engineer furnished information regarding site conditions in preparing and submitting a Bid. ISupplement 1-02.4(1) by adding the following: The City has included a partially filled in Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) Transfer of Coverage (Ecology form ECY 020-87a) for the Construction I Stormwater General Permit (CSWGP) as part of the Bid Documents. As a condition of Section 1-03.3, Execution of Contract, the Contractor is required to complete sections I, Ill, and VIII of the Transfer of Coverage and return the form to the I Contracting Agency. The City is responsible for compliance with the CSWGP until the 10 end of day that the contract is executed. Beginning on the day after the Contract is executed the Contractor I shall assume complete legal responsibility for compliance with the CSWGP and full implementation of all conditions of the CSWGP as they apply to the contract Work.
