January 7, 2019 HWA Project No. 98165 o The well annulus will be backfilled with hydrated bentonite above the sand filter pack • Wells will be fitted with locking, upright, steel standpipe completions. We understand the City will provide and install protective bollards. • HWA will provide a geologist or geotechnical engineer to observe the well installation, log soils, document ground water occurrence, and prepare well drilling logs. HWA will also monitor well development. Wells will be developed by the well driller by surging and pumping for 20-30 minutes per well. • Drill cuttings will be stockpiled on site or broadcast at Client's direction. • HWA will provide boring logs for all wells, but no other reporting will be provided. COST ESTIMATE Based on the above information, we propose to provide these services on a time and materials basis for an estimated fee not to exceed$12,620. Details of our estimate may be found on the attached spreadsheet. The budget presented in this proposal reflects an estimate based on our current understanding of the project requirements for a scope of work developed from information provided. HWA reserves the right to transfer hours and budget dollars between tasks to satisfy project requirements. Our budget also reflects estimated direct costs to the project for drilling, equipment rental, etc. HWA may also transfer funds allocated for direct costs to professional/technical hours or vice versa,to satisfy project requirements.
