These include transportation,housing, <br /> homelessness,water infrastructure,public safety,immigration,and environment/sustainability. <br /> Our track record of success includes securing a$45 million FASTLANE transportation grant(now <br /> INFRA) for its South Lander Bridge Project(Lander). Seattle was the only city to receive a large <br /> FASTLANE grant-and it was the largest in Washington State. <br /> The Lander project will construct a long-desired bridge on South Lander Street over railroad tracks <br /> to improve traffic operations,freight mobility,and safety. The project especially supports mobility <br /> for the local manufacturing sector-promoting middle-class,family-supporting jobs that create <br /> economic vitality in the Puget Sound region. <br /> Holland&Knight worked closely with the City's congressional delegation to build support for the <br /> FASTLANE grant program and the Lander project. We helped arrange to have then-Transportation <br /> Secretary Anthony Foxx visit the project site in advance of the application to better understand the <br /> project's critical impact on the region.
