BDS will work with the City and the Everett Station Dis- <br /> trict Alliance through the tasks outlined below. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> To ensure efficient and cost-effective project implementation, the BDS team's on-site <br /> work will be organized into a series of"on-site" meeting windows. During each of the <br /> on-site visits,we will do as many on-site activities as needed. Between on-site meeting <br /> windows,we will work remotely with the project's leadership via email and telephone. <br /> 1: Situation Assessment & Draft Concept <br /> 1 .1 — Kick-off meetings & Tour <br /> At the outset, a project kick-off meeting will include key members of the consulting <br /> team and be an opportunity to get acquainted with City and Everett Station District Al- <br /> liance leadership, review the scope of work, set project goals, identify critical issues, <br /> consider members of the Steering Committee, talk through logistics, and tour the dis- <br /> trict. In our experience, a focused kick-off meeting among key leaders from the client <br /> organization and consulting team can set an effective tone for the whole project, align <br /> expectations, and allow us all to "begin with the end in mind." <br /> 1 .2 — Deliverable #1 : Process Documents <br /> Following the kick-off meeting, BDS will prepare a final set of process documents, in- <br /> cluding a process graphic, schedule, project goals, and steering committee charter, and <br /> participation guidelines. These will provide a foundation for the first Steering Commit- <br /> tee meeting and throughout the process. <br /> 1 .3 — Key Stakeholder Interviews <br /> Following the kick-off meeting, Brian Scott will conduct in-person interviews or tele- <br /> phone calls with key stakeholders (as identified by Alliance leadership) to gain insight <br /> into opportunities, constraints, and issues related to the project.
