Once you have the specs for the new sign, please pass those along ASAP to be
routed for staff review. Please also provide a revised site plan noting the removal/transfer of the existing
Espresso sign.
Additionally, the proposed freestanding sign must also comply with EMC 19.36.090, which requires the
planting of shrubs and groundcover within the protective island for the sign. Though some landscaping was
provided with the original permit for the Espresso sign, and noted on the prior site plan, the removal of the
Espresso sign will cause a sizable gap in the island that will need additional shrubs/groundcover to fill out.
Please also indicate this on the plan. Landscaping will be verified upon inspection.
I have already spoken with the permit techs so once the above-mentioned items are provided, I will note
Planning's conditions/approval on the plans and they'll get routed immediately.
If you have any questions, please let me know!
Thanks,
Kelsey
From: Brian Bodge [mailto:brianbodge(amsn.com]
Sent: Monday, August 29, 2016 5:19 PM -
5/ L:1)
