• ORDINANCE NO. 3371 AN ORDINANCE providing for the protection of the public health and safety; examination, regulation, licensing of persons engaged in the business of plumbing or laboring at the trade of plumbing; requiring a permit for installation or alteration of plumbing, gas and drainage systems; creating the office of Plumbing Official and a Board of Plumbing Examiners, and prescribing their duties; defining certain terms; establishing minimum regulations for installation, alteration or repair of plumbing, gas and drainage systems and inspection thereof; providing for penalties for violation thereof ; and repealing conflicting ordinances; and pro- viding for the adoption by reference of the Uniform Plumbing Code as issued for the year 1950 by the Western Plumbing Officials Association as the Plumbing Code and Ordinance for the City of ' Everett, and repealing Ordinances No. 1229, 3007 and 3345 of the City of Everett. N0W, 1TI1ER FORE, THE CITY OF EVERE2T DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the 1950 edition of the 'Uniform Plumbing Code as prepared and edited by the 'aestern Plumbing Officials association, subject to the modifications, additions and changes hereinafter set forth, is hereby adopted as amended, supplemented and modified herein es the Plumbing Code and Ordinance of the City of r,verett, there being three copies of said Plumbing Code on file with the City Clerk of the City of Everett and such Code by refer- ence is hereby made a part of this ordinance as though fully set forth herein. Section 2: That the Uniform Plumbing Code as herein adopted is supplemented as follows: (a) Chapter 1, Section 102, is hereby completed by filling in the blank therein as follows: "Commissioner of Public 'Yorks" (b) Chapter 1, Section 103, is hereby completed by filling in the plank therein as follows: "five years" (c) Chapter 1, Section 104, is hereby completed by filling in the blank therein as follows: "public works" (d) Chapter 1, Section 108, is hereby completed by filling in the blanks therein as _follows: %300.00" "one" (e) Chapter 2, Section 213, is hereby completed by filling in the blank therein as follows: ".r 5.00t' (f) Chapter 2, Section 214, is hereby completed by filling in the blanks therein as follows: "31st" "Lecember" Section 3: That Chapter 2, Section 202, is hereby amend- ed to read as follows: Ir
