The Board of Plumbing Examiners shall <br /> consist of four members; one master plumber, <br /> one jour"neyman,' plumber, and one person not <br /> affiliated '•witb;. the plumbing trade. The Plumb- <br /> ing Official shall be an ex officio member of <br /> the Board and shall be its secretary and keep <br /> its records. All members of the Board shall <br /> be appointed by the Commissioner of Public . <br /> Works and shall serve for two years." <br /> Section 4: That chapter 3, Section 305, is amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 305 - Cost of Permit <br /> Every applicant for a Permit to install, add to, <br /> alter, relocate, or replace a Plumbing or Drainage <br /> System, or part thereof, shall state in writing on <br /> the application form provided for that purpose, <br /> the character of work proposed to be done and the <br /> amount and kind in connection therewith, together <br /> with such information pertinent thereof as the <br /> Plumbing Official may require. <br /> Such applicant shall pay to the Plumbing Official <br /> for each Permit issued and at the time of issuance, <br /> a fee in accordance with the following schedule, <br /> and at the rate provided for each classification <br /> shown therein. <br /> Any person who shall commence any plumbing work for <br /> which a permit is required by this Code without <br /> first haling obtained a permit thereof shall, if <br /> subsequently permitted to obtain a permit, pay double <br /> the permit fee fixt. d by this section for such work, <br /> provided, however, that this provision shall not <br /> apply to emergency work when it shall be proved to <br /> the satisfaction of the Chief Plumbing Official <br /> that such work was urgently necessary and that it <br /> was not practical to obtain a permit therefor before <br /> the commencement of the work. In all such cases, <br /> a permit must be obtained as soon as it is practical <br /> to do so, and if there be an unreasonable delay in <br /> obtaining such permit, a double fee as herein pro- <br /> vided shall be charged. <br /> SCHEDULE OF FEES <br /> For each Plumbing Fixtures and waste <br /> discharging device 4; .50 <br /> For each House Sewer 1.00 <br /> For each Septic Tank 1.00 <br /> For each Fuater Heater .50 <br /> For each Water Distribution System .50 <br /> For Plumbing piping without fixtures. 1.00 <br /> For each Gas Piping System of 1 to 10 outlets1.00 <br /> For each Gas Piping System of 10 outlets <br /> or more per outlet .10 <br /> For each Swimming Pool <br /> Public .20.00 <br /> Private 10.00 <br /> For each piece of water treating or water <br /> using equipment, .50 <br /> rt inimum fee for any permit for work re- <br /> quiring inspection 1.00 " <br />
