Bethany at Silver Lake
Chapter 388-97 WAC Nursing Home
15 ❑x The Emergency Generator must be categorized by the Engineer to comply with NFPA 70-517
&700,NFPA 99-6,NFPA 101-18 &NFPA 110-4(Type 2). Provide/list the applicable
categorization.
16Additional comments may arise upon CRS review of subsequent submittal materials.
I
....._ .. . ..._ . . ...._- _- -- _. . _. _ ti. _ ._......: ____...__. .. ..:._.
17 Ei The response received on 8-7-18 contained NO written response, listed by comment#and the
drawings received appeared the same as originally submitted(no apparent change). In fact, the
drawing set(4 dwgs)received 6-27-18 was dated 5-16-18 and the drawing set(4 dwgs)
received 8-7-18 was dated 4-23-18 and appear to be the same drawings(not sure why the
August submittal was from the earlier dated version). Suggest contacting Senior Plans
reviewer(KAS)Kevin A Scarlett at 360.688.0771 to discuss these and other concerns prior to
your next submittal.
Compliance with the comments above provided by the Department of Health,Construction Review Services, are necessary for this facility to meet the cited
requirements of the applicable licensing regulations found in the Washington State Administrative Code and associated references. These comments,
authorization to begin construction or final project approval do not relieve the facility from the responsibility to meet the requirements of any applicable
federal, state or local regulations. In the event of conflicts between other jurisdictions and these written comments, the most stringent shall apply. The
building owner or operator is ultimately responsible for safety and insuring the building is in compliance with all applicable laws.
Page 6 of 6 Plan Review Comments for Project 60875836
