Ted de Budden
From: Ted de Budden
Sent: Tuesday, July 10, 2018 2:00 PM
To: Donald Cunningham
Subject: RE: 2112 Lombard - Stairs, Siding, and Permits
Categories: Red Category
Don,
I have reviewed permit records, documents and your photo attachments related to the concerns at 2112 Lombard Ave.
Here is a brief summary of my findings and determinations.
1. I can confirm for you that the 2002-2003 permits have expired without required inspection approvals, R109.4
"Approval Required".
2. Your photos of the front porch structure and many portions of the exterior of the house reveals"Protective
Treatment" is not completed or provided as required by IPMC sections 304.2 and 304.10
3. The front porch railing lacks an "approved graspable handrail". IPMC 304.12
These IPMC deficiencies are defined as Unlawful and Unsafe.
I cannot comment on the condition or status of the basement area without additional information except to say
that it has"no record of being approved for habitable space".
Thank you for your enforcement efforts to abate these conditions.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Regards
4/277.
