State of Washington Department of Ecology Page 2 of 20 <br /> Agreement No: AQTRNBUS-1719-COE-00005 <br /> Project Title: Transit Bus Replacement <br /> Recipient Name: City of Everett <br /> Three more fixed route electric buses are on order to be delivered in 2019 and will be placed on the Waterfront <br /> to College Station route,a newly expanded route that will be further expanded to serve the Riverfront <br /> community when completed. <br /> Funding from Section 5339 Infrastructure Investment program will allow Everett Transit to purchase two more <br /> electric buses by the end of 2018. <br /> Federal CMAQ funding has been awarded to Everett Transit in 2020 to purchase nine additional electric ubses. <br /> In total,Everett Transit is purchasing 18 new,40'low floor electric buses which will replace diesel buses from <br /> 12 to 24 years old. <br /> Overall Goal: <br /> Reduce toxic emissions and greenhouse gases from older transit buses to achieve cleaner air. <br /> Version 10/30/2015 <br />
