If
your request is part of a larger project, you may briefly describe the over-all project. However, please focus the majority of your answer on the specific
element for which you are requesting funding.
After 3 years of planning &fundraising, the Evergreen Arboretum& Gardens Society,
with help from Everett Parks, has invested more than$135,000.00 to complete the
expansion of the arboretum. We doubled the length of ADA accessible pathways, added
new gardens& sculpture. We need a new brochure to promote the expanded arboretum
and we plan to market it with a kick-off event and heavy distribution.Horticultural tourism
is on the rise, and a well-distributed brochure will raise the number of guests seeking us
out and seeking hotels to stay in during their visit.
4
