The City Council acknowledges the October 30, 2013 letter from the City of <br /> Everett Planning Director committing the City will expedite the necessary local <br /> permits for the Boeing Everett site in support of the request to designate the next <br /> generation of the 777 aircraft as a Project of Statewide Significance. <br /> A designation as Project of Statewide Significance by Department of Commerce <br /> would critically expand the regulatory capacity to expedite permits to also include <br /> state agencies and resources. <br /> Thank you in advance for your thoughtful consideration of this application and for <br /> "Working Together" with Snohomish County and the City of Everett in growing <br /> aerospace in Washington State. <br /> Based on the authority provided by attached City Council Resolution dated <br /> October 30, 2013, I am honored to document full support of the Everett City <br /> Council for referenced Joint Application by submittal of this Letter of Legislative <br /> Support and my signature below. <br /> October 30, 2013 <br /> Jeff Moore, City Council President <br />
