<br />This letter request consideration of a design approach regazding the version of the building code
<br />ro be utilized for rhe new Snohomish Counry Adminishation Building in Evaett, Washington.
<br />The Snohomish Counry Adminishation Campus is Sounded by Pacific Sireet, Oakes Stree[,
<br />Wall Sh�eet, and Wetmore Street. The new Admini;tmtion building ���ill br located in the
<br />southcasc comer of the Campus block. Tiie new building will bc approximately 156,000 squarc
<br />feet. It will be a high-rise with S floors and a"daylight" basemen[. The height above Oakes
<br />Street will b� approximately 126'. The budget for the project is S20,OOD,000 with completion
<br />set for December 2004.
<br />We request that thc dcsign 6: bascd upon the provisions of the 2000 edition of the Intemational
<br />Building Code (IBC) as promulgated by the International Code Council, Falls Church, �'ireinia.
