(MGI) is pleased to submit this proposal to conduct a geotechnical <br /> engineering evaluation for the proposed extension of Railway Avenue in Everett, Washington. <br /> This proposal is based on email conversations and civil plans dated 08/23/2018 provided by Sitts <br /> &Hill Engineers,Inc. <br /> SITE AND PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> We understand that Railway Avenue will be extended north a distance of approximately <br /> 2,000 feet from the existing terminus. A 12-inch water line and a 54-inch storm line will also be <br /> constructed as part the improvements. <br /> The project site is currently vacant. Surface topography is relatively flat. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> In order to provide geotechnical recommendations for the project, we will need to determine <br /> subsurface soil and groundwater conditions at depth. Accordingly, we will hire Holt Services <br /> Inc. to drill 6 borings to nominal depths of 10 feet along the proposed alignment on <br /> approximately 400 foot centers for a total drilling footage of 60 feet. <br /> Auger borings will be conducted under contract to MGI. MGI will provide geotechnical <br /> personnel and laboratory services for this project based out of our office in Tacoma, <br /> Washington. <br /> age { uN j <br />
