1. Can you please confirm that the residential unit in the accessory structure (42121/4 is now legal, based upon the
final inspection approval of Permit No. CW1707-002?
2. I believe we will need building permits to remove the kitchen. I am not sure what else we need to do to fully
abate the unit from a building code perspective. Does the City offer a building consultation inspection prior to
submitting a permit? I believe that would be best to identify what needs to be modified/removed to come into
compliance with the Hearing Examiner order. I have looked through your eTrackit system to see if a building
consultation inspection is available. This is not an option as an on-line building permit, and an inspection cannot
be requested without a permit. How can I schedule the consultation?
3. Once the work is complete and has been inspected, will the City provide written confirmation that the unit has
been abated and the property is in compliance with the Hearing Examiner order?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Tim
Tim McHarg,AICP I Senior Land Use Planner
Van Ness Feldman UP
719 Second Avenue,Suite 1150
Seattle,Washington 98104-1728
Main: (206)623-9372 I Direct: (206)802-3837 I Cell: (206)817-6977
tmcharg@vnf.com I vnf.com
This communication may contain information and/or metadata that is legally privileged, confidential or exempt from disclosure.
