Public Works—Benyam Stephanos—425.257.7289 <br /> 1. A Public Works Permit is required for this project. Detailed drawings in accordance with City Design <br /> and Construction Standards shall be submitted to the Public Works Department, showing site parking <br /> layout, landscaping, utilities, storm drainage, temporary construction erosion control, and all required <br /> improvements in the public right-of-way. Public Works Department approval of these drawings is <br /> required prior to any permits being issued. All improvements shall be completed, approved and <br /> warranted before the Occupancy Permit is issued/final approval is granted. <br /> 2. Parking must be per City Zoning Code and City Design and Construction Standards for Development. <br /> 3. This project must comply with the current City of Everett Building Code and Sprinkler Ordinance. <br /> 4. Stormwater shall be managed in accordance with the City's Storm water Management Manual. <br /> 5. Approval of construction plans will require demonstration that all pertinent standards and regulations <br /> are met. <br /> 6. A fire hydrant is required within 200 driving feet but not closer than 50 feet of every structure. <br /> 7. A fire hydrant is required within 350 driving feet of every structure. The hydrant(s) must meet City <br /> specifications. <br /> 8. City streets and alleys are to be kept clear of dirt and debris at all times during construction. Dust <br /> suppression and street cleaning must occur as directed by the Public Works Inspector. <br /> 9. Lack of comment on the plans submitted with the application does not constitute approval of these <br /> plans. <br /> 10. No building materials to be stacked on sidewalk/roadway and sidewalk/roadway to be kept clean and <br /> open for pedestrian travel <br /> 11. As-builts of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water systems will be required to be submitted per City <br /> Design and Construction Standards and Specifications for Development. <br /> 12. Any broken or damaged sidewalk shall be repaired/replaced per the City Public Works Inspector. <br /> 13. If the proposed fill is intended to support structures at a later date, the fill shall be placed in accordance <br /> with Appendix J of the International Building Code. Should the applicant not wish to construct a fill <br /> intended to support a structure at a later date,the applicant will be required to submit a letter to the City <br /> so stating. The letter will be recorded against the property. <br /> 14. The construction plans must be designed from a site survey performed by a licensed State of <br /> Washington land surveyor. <br /> 15. All contaminated soil and excavated material from foundation, shall be hauled to an approved, <br /> permitted site.No wasting of material is allowed on this building lot. <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> • 7-010 <br />
