Please review and <br /> respond to the comments below. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br /> Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br /> Non Structural Comments only, Structural comments previously sent <br /> General <br /> 1. The plans should note whether this is a two story building or one story with a <br /> basement. Section 504.4 <br /> 2. The distance of the building to the southern property line is difficult to scale on the <br /> 1/16" plan but appears to be less than five feet at some places. Please display the <br /> distances and the percentage of unprotected openings within the southern exterior <br /> walls. Table 708.5 <br /> a. If the southern exterior wall is less than 5' to the property line, the southern <br /> exterior walls (upper floor) should be shown to continue through the roof trusses <br /> to the underside of the roof-sheathing (fire-resistive construction on both sides <br /> of the wall). Exception 4 to Section 705.11 <br /> 3. Walls that are required to be of fire-resistive construction should be shown on the floor <br /> plans (the wall tags on the building sections are difficult to follow). Section 107.2.1 <br /> 4. The floor plans should show (building sections are not clear enough) that the walls <br /> between adjacent sleeping units and between each sleeping unit and adjacent spaces <br /> have a minimum sound transmission class of not less than 50. Section 1207.2 <br /> 5. Door 027A from the garage to the future tenant space is through a one-hour occupancy <br /> separation wall. The door should be shown as a minimum 45-minute rated assembly. <br /> Section 707.3.9 and Table 716.5 <br />
