• • • • 1 2 Section 2: When selecting personnel to fill positions in the City requiring 3 special experience and training to qualify for such positions, it may become 4 necessary, in order to insure selection of the most qualified applicants for 5 such positions be personnally interviewed, and that the City Council further 6 finds that in such cases the payment by the City of the travel and subsistence 7 expense of applicants requested to come to the City for interviews is a proper 8 municipal expense and for a proper municipal purpose. These expenses shall 9 be paid on the same basis as employees or officers of the City. 10 Section 3: Whenever the Mayor determines that in order to secure the li services of any person not residing within Snohomish County as an employee 12 of the City, it is necessary to pay the costs of moving the household goods 13 and personal effects of such person from his place of residence to the City 14 upon his appointment to City service, then payment of actual and reasonable 15 moving costs may be paid from the appropriate operating fund in the City's 16 budget.
