• <br /> Section 22: SPECIFIC LAND DATA REQUIRED <br /> As each building has different service requirements and load <br /> conditions, the inspector shall be consulted and supplied with <br /> the specific load data before work is started. <br /> Section 23 : CIRCUIT BREAKER INTERRUPTING CAPACITY <br /> A circuit breaker having a rating above 200 amperes shall <br /> have an interrupting capacity rating of not less than the short <br /> circuit current available in the distribution system as deter- <br /> mined by serving utility for the location of its use. <br /> Section 24 : LOW VOLTAGE CONTROL WIRING SYSTEMS <br /> Low voltage control wiring systems, such as 24-volt temperature <br /> ontrol ciruits, 12 and 14-volt switching circuits for lighting <br /> and power relays and contactors, and which are not an integral <br /> part of a pre-wired device shall be inspected along with higher <br /> voltage circuits , and outlets and devices of such systems shall <br /> be included in the schedule of equipment subject to payment of <br /> fees . <br /> Section 25: TEMPORARY WIRING - WHERE PROHIBITED <br /> It shall be unlawful for any contractor, firm or person, <br /> to run temporary cords or wiring on or across public sidewalks <br /> or roadways or any place on private property where public travel <br /> will cross such wiring when not protected from physical damage to <br /> the satisfaction of the inspection authority. <br /> Section 26: LIGHTING INSTALLATIONS - WHERE PROHIBITED <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to place or install, or <br /> cause to allow to be placed or installed, any flood light upon <br /> any property that the use of same will interfere with the safe <br /> flow of traffic or cause a blinding effect upon traffic. It <br /> shall also be unlawful to place or install or cause to or allow <br /> to be placed or installed, any colored light of the intermittant <br /> or blinking type that, in any way, would be mistaken for any warning, <br /> danger, directional or traffic control signals. <br /> Section 27 : EQUIPMENT INSTALLATIONS - LOCATION RESTRICTIONS <br /> It shall be unlawful to mount power supplies , amplifiers and <br /> such similar equipment in attics, under buildings or crawl spaces, <br /> or mount such equipment on or around combustible materials. No <br /> equipment shall be mounted or installed in wet or damp locations <br /> unless designed for use in such locations. <br /> Electrical outlets used as a source of supply shall be perman- <br /> ently installed and placed not more than three feet from equipment <br /> being served. <br /> Section 28 : RADIO OR TV ANTENNA INSTALLATION FEES <br /> It shall be unlawful for any radio or television receiving <br /> or broadcasting station to erect or install any antenna, mast, <br /> tower or counterpoise without first securing a permit for such <br /> installation, and conforming to the requirements of the National <br /> Electrical Code. For each installation the fee shall be $5. 00. <br /> No radio or television receiving or broadcasting station equip- <br /> ment with an antenna, mast or counterpoise extending over the City <br /> street areas, shall be installed unless approved by the City Electrical <br /> Inspector and the City Council. Permission to install such equip- <br /> ment shall be requested of the City in a formal written request for <br /> approval. The fee shall be $5. 00. <br />
