General 1. The method of compliance with the IEBC should be identified in the project data code analysis, to include whether it is prescriptive, work area, or performance compliance. Please identify if the work is Level II or III alterations, to include whether the ceiling is remaining, light fixtures are being added or replaced, quantities, etc. The compliance path and level(prescriptive;Level 2)are identified on A1.1(Project Information)andA1.2 in the code analysis notes. It is expected that the ceiling/light fixtures over the Waiting Room and Admin Office will be replaced due to'structural work above. This is approximately 450 sf of a total 1810 sf of existing space. Six light fixtures are being replaced in this area, noted on the Reflected Ceiling Plan,A2.2. / Occupancy 1. Please include the occupancy load calculations in the project data on the cover sheet. a. Please summarize total occupant load count by occupancy and floor area, per IBC table 1004.1.2. b. Please include plumbing fixture calculations per IBC Chapter 29, table 2902.1, as amended by the State of Washington. Occupancy load calculation and plumbing fixture calculations have been added to code analysis notes on A1.2.A memo from the building Owner is attached outlining actual employee/customer numbers. This was /previously submitted to the City of Everett following the Pre Application Conference. V 2. Please show the following on the drawings: a: Specific signage at the main entrance door and the exit doors to indicate that these doors will be open during business hours, per IBC section 1010.1.9.3, item 2.2. b. The door schedule should indicate that any locking devices on these doors are readily distinguishable as being locked. Pease refer to A1.2, Code Analysis Plan. Construction "1. Please.dimension the existing and new hallways going east-west in the plans. The dimensions have been added to the Floor Plan,A21. 2. Please include tested assembly number in rated walls, and include a copy of the details for the tested assembly from the testing authority on the plans. a. For the north exterior wall of the addition, please identify if the construction is different at the parapet than at the insulated wall below the roof.
