The method of compliance with the IEBC should be identified in the project data code analysis, to <br /> include whether it is prescriptive, work area, or performance compliance. Please identify if the work is <br /> Level II or III alterations, to include whether the ceiling is remaining, light fixtures are being added or <br /> replaced, quantities, etc. <br /> The compliance path and level(prescriptive;Level 2)are identified on A1.1(Project Information)andA1.2 in <br /> the code analysis notes. It is expected that the ceiling/light fixtures over the Waiting Room and Admin Office <br /> will be replaced due to'structural work above. This is approximately 450 sf of a total 1810 sf of existing <br /> space. Six light fixtures are being replaced in this area, noted on the Reflected Ceiling Plan,A2.2. <br /> / Occupancy <br /> 1. Please include the occupancy load calculations in the project data on the cover sheet. a. Please <br /> summarize total occupant load count by occupancy and floor area, per IBC table 1004.1.2. <br /> b. Please include plumbing fixture calculations per IBC Chapter 29, table 2902.1, as amended by the <br /> State of Washington. <br /> Occupancy load calculation and plumbing fixture calculations have been added to code analysis notes on <br /> A1.2.A memo from the building Owner is attached outlining actual employee/customer numbers. This was <br /> /previously submitted to the City of Everett following the Pre Application Conference. <br /> V 2. Please show the following on the drawings: a: Specific signage at the main entrance door and the exit <br /> doors to indicate that these doors will be open during business hours, per IBC section 1010.1.9.3, item <br /> 2.2. <br /> b. The door schedule should indicate that any locking devices on these doors are readily distinguishable <br /> as being locked. <br /> Pease refer to A1.2, Code Analysis Plan. <br /> Construction <br /> "1. Please.dimension the existing and new hallways going east-west in the plans. <br /> The dimensions have been added to the Floor Plan,A21. <br /> 2. Please include tested assembly number in rated walls, and include a copy of the details for the tested <br /> assembly from the testing authority on the plans. a. For the north exterior wall of the addition, please <br /> identify if the construction is different at the parapet than at the insulated wall below the roof.
