ORDINANCE NO. 2:3/ <br /> 1 AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of the <br /> East 28 feet of Cedar Street from 30 feet South of the <br /> 2 South line of Lot 16 to the North line of the South <br /> half of Lot 6 , Block 754 , plat of Everett Land Company 's <br /> 3 First Addition to Everett, by the construction of a <br /> 20-foot asphalt paved strip, concrete sidewalk, curb and <br /> 4 gutter, drainage and necessary appurtenances to make a <br /> complete improvement, all in accordance with the plans <br /> 5 prepared by the City Engineer, creating a Local Improve- <br /> ment District fund therefore, and providing for the <br /> 6 payment for such improvement in part by special assess- <br /> ments on the property in said district under mode of <br /> 7 payment by bonds or installment notes . <br /> 8 WHEREAS by petition filed with the City Clerk of <br /> the City of Everett, a majority of the property owners , <br /> 9 under the provisions of RCW 35 . 43 . 120 within the dis- <br /> trict in the title above-described have petitioned for <br /> 10 the construction of certain public works and have set <br /> 11 forth and met all requirements for petitioning construc- <br /> tion of said public works , and, <br /> 12 WHEREAS the Council of the City of Everett find <br /> 13 such matters set forth in said petition to be true, and <br /> 14 WHEREAS the City Council held a hearing on March 21, <br /> 1973 following advertisement and public notice of the <br /> 15 proposed improvement, and thereafter directed that an <br /> ordinance be presented, <br /> 16 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Section 1: The City Council of the City of Everett <br /> 10 finds and declares that the improvements hereinafter <br /> 20 described is in the public interest and hereby directs <br /> 21 its construction. <br /> 22 Section 2: THAT AN IMPROVEMENT BE MADE OF: <br /> 23 <br /> (1) Cedar Street, by the construction of a 20-foot <br /> 24 <br /> asphalt paved strip, concrete sidewalk, curb <br /> 25 <br /> and gutter, drainage and necessary appurtenances <br /> 26 <br /> to make a complete improvement. <br /> 27 <br /> All of the aforesaid improvements shall be in accord- <br /> 28 <br /> ance with plans prepared by the City Engineer, which plans <br /> 29 <br /> and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
