• <br /> the cancellation or other termination of any such policy shall <br /> automatically revoke and terminate the licenses issued for the <br /> ambulances covered by such policy, unless another insurance <br /> policy complying with the provisions of this section shall be <br /> provided and be in effect at the time of such cancellation or <br /> termination. <br /> E. Publicly owned ambulance service or any ambulance service run by <br /> a political subdivision of the State of Washington, or by a <br /> municipal corporation, or quasi-municipal corporation, may elect <br /> to be a self-insurer, and thereby be relieved of the duty imposed <br /> by this section; such election shall be made upon forms provided <br /> by the License Officer. <br /> Section 6: Duties of License Officer <br /> A. The License Officer, upon the recommendation and subject to the <br /> approval of the Advisory Committee created by Section 7, may <br /> promulgate, revise, or rescind such reasonable rules and regu- <br /> lations as may be necessary or appropriate to administer the <br /> provisions of this Ordinance and to perform the duties assigned <br /> to the License Officer, in conformity with the intent and purpose <br /> of this Ordinance. <br /> B. An authorized representative of the License Officer shall make <br /> such regular inspections as he deems necessary, and shall make <br /> such reports relative to conditions existing at such times and in <br /> such manner as the License Officer may direct. <br /> Section 7: Advisory Committee <br /> A. The Mayor of the City of Everett shall appoint an Advisory Committer <br /> composed of the following: <br /> (1) One Physician who shall be a member of the Emergency Medical <br /> Care Committee of the Snohomish County Medical Society who either <br /> practices or resides in the City of Everett. This Physician shall <br /> serve an initial term of 6 years. Each succeeding term shall be <br /> for 6 years. <br /> (2) One Physician who shall serve an initial term of 4 years. <br /> Each succeeding term shall be for 6 years. <br />
