C. Conditional License - Conditions - It is recognized that conditions <br /> of training availability may prevent compliance with standards as <br /> specified above. Until 2 years after effected date, Conditional <br /> licenses may be issued. Two years after the effected date of this <br /> Ordinance, an applicant may not apply under Section 9C(1) and (2) . <br /> (1) Conditional License, Operator <br /> a. When, because of temporary unavailability of certified <br /> emergency medical technicians, an applicant for a <br /> license will be unable immediately to comply with <br /> provisions of this Ordinance relating to qualifications <br /> of Ambulance Attendant, a Conditional Operator's License <br /> may be issued for a period not to exceed eight months, <br /> conditioned on the following. <br /> b. Diligent efforts shall be made by such applicant to <br /> fully comply with the provisions of this Ordinance, <br /> including requiring personnel employed by the applicant <br /> who do not have the training and educational qualifi- <br /> cations set forth in Section 9B(1) , to take the first <br /> available training and instructional program thereafter <br /> offered in Snohomish County which meets the require- <br /> ments of Section 9B(1) , and thereafter complying with <br /> all requirements of Section 9B(1) as quickly as may <br /> be practicable under all the circumstances. <br /> (2) Conditional License - Ambulance Attendant - When, because <br /> of current unavailability within Snohomish County of a training <br /> and instructional program meeting the requirements set forth in <br /> Section 9B(1) , an applicant for an ambulance attendant license <br /> is unable to fulfill the requirements set forth in Section 9B(1) , <br /> a conditional license may be issued for a period not to exceed <br /> eight months, conditioned on such applicant enrolling in the first <br /> available training and instructional program thereafter offered <br /> in Snohomish County which meets the requirements of Section 9B(1) , <br /> and thereafter complying with all requirements of Section 9B(1) <br /> as quickly as may be practicable under all the circumstances. <br /> (3) Conditional License - Ambulance Attendant Standards <br /> a. An applicant shall demonstrate emergency medical <br /> knowledge consistent with the standards and tests <br /> recommended by the Advisory Committee and adopted <br /> by the License Officer. <br /> b. After 2 years after the effective date of this Ordinance, <br /> conditional licenses will be issued only because of <br /> unavailability of certified emergency medical technicians. <br />
