Section 2. The following ordinances, as amended, are hereby amended as follows: <br /> A. Ordinance No. 1671-89, as amended (EMC Title 19), is hereby amended by the addition of the <br /> following chapter as set forth in Exhibit 1 attached hereto, to be codified as EMC Chapter 19.36, <br /> Signs. <br /> B. Section 4 of Ordinance 1671-89, as amended (Zoning Code definitions, specific, EMC 19.04.020) <br /> is amended as follows: <br /> "Abandoned sign" means a sign which no longer identifies or advertises a bona fide business, <br /> lessor,service, owner, product or activity, or for which no legal owner can be found, and which <br /> has no historical significance. <br /> identification or promotional purposes.
