Assumptions:
1. Beverly Lake is less than 20 acres in size and does not contain salmonids; therefore, it is
accorded a 50-foot buffer from the Ordinary High Water Mark (OHWM).
2. No wetlands are located on the site, and therefore none will be filled in association
with the proposed project. The only impacts and mitigation will be those associated
with temporary or permanent buffer impacts. If wetlands are found on the site, optional
Tasks 2 and/or 3 will be completed.
3. The CAD work for the buffer mitigation planting plan will be performed by Public Works
Staff as part of project design. The Consultant will provide all necessary information
and will work collaboratively with CAD personnel.
Task 2: Wetland Delineation (OPTIONAL) Estimate: $3,190
Any wetlands found on the site will be flagged (delineated) and all necessary data gathered,
per the current, approved wetland delineation manuals. Prior to the site visit, background
research and preparation for the fieldwork will be completed. After the delineation,
Consultant will prepare a site sketch of the wetland flagging and provide it to the
professional land surveyor. A surveyor must be retained by the Client to survey these
flags.
Task 3: Wetland Information in CAR(OPTIONAL) Estimate: $5,910
Wetland-related information, including background information, wetland data sheets,
wetland rating forms and associated figures, and maps will be included in the CAR if
wetlands are found on the site. This information to be included is that which is required by
EMC 19.37 and the current, approved wetland manuals.
Assumptions:
1. Impacts to wetlands are not proposed. If wetland impacts are found to be unavoidable, a
new contract or addendum will cover that mitigation and permitting work, as it can be
highly variable in terms of level of effort.
This Scope of Work does not include the following:
• Land use or other permitting.
• Application filing fees, recording fees and mitigation fees.
• Preliminary or final engineering design, including CAD.
• Identification of any steep slopes, landslide hazard areas or other associated critical
areas.
• Wetland/stream/buffer mitigation monitoring.
• Surveying, traffic analysis, or work performed by other consultants.
• Shoreline or Flood Hazard Permitting.
• Permits requiring State or Federal approval unless otherwise identified within the above
Scope of Work.
• Fulfillment of any conditions of approval associated with approved permits or other
entitlements.
SHOCKEY page 2 Cost and Scope Proposal
Beverly Lake Sewer Replacement
Mitigation
