EVERETT <br /> WASHINGTON <br /> Year over year,our data indicates that children (34%)and seniors(23%)are the majority of consumers needing the <br /> services of VOAWW's Hunger Prevention Program. <br /> Everett residents may visit twice a month at any of the three food banks and pantries operated by VOAWW in <br /> Everett.Our current locations are spread out in South and Central Everett neighborhoods.We also provide <br /> residential food bank grocery delivery to home-bound individuals and weekend food packs for school children.Our <br /> current operating hours vary by day and location to allow for ample access.Early evening hours and one Saturday a <br /> month help accommodate the"working poor"to access the food bank.Hours vary from 9am-7pm on Monday- <br /> Thursday,depending on location,and 10am-lpm on Saturday.Guests who arrive outside of regular operations are <br /> provided with an emergency food bag and instructions on regular operating hours and locations.The hours and <br /> locations are on VOAWW's website(www.voaww.org);posted on the entrance of the main Everett food bank;and <br /> printed copies are available at the check-in desk.VOAWW operates food delivery approximately 50 weeks of the <br /> year.Weeks without services are calendared in advance with ample notice given to those potentially affected by a <br /> closure.Additionally,we have the emergency food bags prepared for guests who show up during planned closures. <br /> VOAWW staff provide the service and management with extensive support from trained volunteers,community <br /> groups,business groups,faith-based organizations,and schools from the Everett community and beyond. <br /> 2019 Human Needs Contracts 8 <br />
