Utility Conflict Information (mainly water)
The rerouting of the water main at Station 3019 should be done on the street side of the
project and not along the back side of the station as proposed.
There are no observable modifications to any of the station footings due to the proximity to
water mains. There should be a minimum of 2ft of clearance from the edge of the pipeline to
the closest edge of the footing. In some cases this will require modification of the footing
dimensions.
Any work done on the live water mains will be performed by the City water department and the
developer's expense. This should be noted on the plans.
Pot-holing will likely be required to determine the exact location of the water mains before
beginning the construction. This should be noted on the plans.
A strategy for protection of all water mains within any of the station footprints must be
developed that will also include some plan for future rerouting and/or encasement of the water
main to facilitate ease of removal and repair. This will likely require additional discussions with
the City Utility Department.
l3 /-3
